Dr. Khalili’s main teaching  responsibilities have been in undergraduate to Ph.D courses focusing on Chemical Transport and Fate in the Environment, Air and Water Pollution Control,  Hazardous Waste Management,  Design of Pollution Control and Prevention Strategies, Carbon Management, Water Management,  Managerial Decision Making Tools/Models , Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Strategic Planning for Sustainability Through Design of Integrated Waste Management Models, Development of Business Case for Environmental Management Projects,  Environmental Health and Occupational Risk Assessment and Management, and Ph.D. Seminars focusing on Models of Sustainability.

  • Initiating educational collaboration between International School of Technology/School of Mining and Metallurgy in Krakow, Poland and Stuart Graduate School of Business.
  • Initiating educational collaboration between Middle East Technical University in Turkey and Stuart Graduate School of Business. The focus of the program was on development of an Environmental Management Program at Middle East Technical University and enhancement of student/faculty exchange programs (September 2002).
  • Initiating collaborative work between Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and EM Program/ IIT Center for Sustainable Enterprise.
  • Developing a new course on Introducing Environmental Management System Design. This course was offered to EM, MBA and Law students with an Environmental Management concentration.
